Detours in France

The trip was well organized and seamless. The information package provided included useful information for each stop. The taxi pick up was always as scheduled, the accommodations and meals were great, our last dinner was amazing. It was wonderful to have all the details taken care of. If we plan to return to France, we will definitely use them again.

We had a great walking tour with Detours in France. This was our second walking tour, this time in Brittany. We were very happy with this company and enjoyed all the hotels, restaurants, and walks planned for us. Sarah was able to adjust the number of days and rearrange the locations to fit our schedule. She was available by texting when we had questions. We loved using the GPS app as well as the typed out itinerary with details for the route. Ours was a level 3 tour, so there were some challenging hiking parts for us (in our 60's), and our muscles were tired at the end of each day! Great memories from this trip and we hope to take a third trip with Detours in France in the future!

Absolutely wonderful! The entire Detours in France team was great to work with. They did some customization of our Bordeaux & the Dordogne River Bike tour to shorten it by one day to meet our schedule. All the stays and arranged dinners were top notch. We chose the Classic + option and couldn't have been happier with that choice. The bike routes were well chosen, and navigating using their recommended app made it easy to follow. I'll definitely use Detours in France again for my next cycling adventure in France.

We did the Canal du Midi tour in September and had a truly wonderful time. The tour was so well organized, the hotels were lovely, the food was delicious and we appreciated all the information about the region that was provided. We had no issues with our bikes but appreciated that Alice and the team were always available. We cannot wait to return and explore a different area by bike!

We had a great 5 days exploring the Dordogne region with Detours in France. Sarah and the team put together a great ride for us with excellent accomodation. This was the second time using this company and would not hesitate to use them again- highly recommended.

Just returned from a wonderful biking trip through Burgundy, arranged and curated by Detours In France. We simply pedaled and enjoyed - Florent and the staff took care of everything else. They selected wonderful hotels and restaurants, provided easy-to-follow bike route notes and GPS tracks, checked-in frequently to make sure everything was going well, handled special requests and changes with ease. We could not ask for a better experience. We loved our time in the Burgundy region. It is a beautiful landscape with charming villages, welcoming shop owners and plenty to do. Plus - the wine experience is unparalleled. Go! And go with Detours In France for the experience of a lifetime.

Great 8 day cycling trip in Alsace with two other couples. We’ve done Burgundy, the Loire, Bordeaux, Normandy and now Alsace with Detours and all have been great experiences. The pre-trip communication, hotel accommodation, bike rentals, meal reservations and recommendations were all most appropriate for our group. Transfers went smoothly and any issues were sorted out quickly. Detours has been an absolute pleasure to deal with, can’t recommend them highly enough.
