Nous avons fait appel à Vanessa pour travailler sur la rénovation complète de notre appartement secondaire. Le lieu était atypique et les contraintes nombreuses. Elle a su nous proposer un aménagement qui optimisait l’espace et mettait en valeur les volumes. Elle a été à notre écoute et nous avons vécu ce projet comme un réel partenariat. Elle a su nous proposer une décoration qui amenait une atmosphère douce et reposante faisant de ce lieu un véritable havre de paix où nous avons toujours autant plaisir à nous ressourcer. Merci à elle pour son écoute , sa réactivité et son professionnalisme . Au delà de ses qualités professionnelles Vanessa est une personne extrêmement positive et chaleureuse. Nous ferons appel à elle sans aucun doute si un nouveau projet se prépare.

J'ai été accompagnée merveilleusement par Vanessa sur un chantier qui demandait une conception de fond en comble avec une attention à la structure d'un bâtiment complexe. Vanessa est totalement à l'écoute, de mes goûts bien sûr mais aussi de mes doutes. Elle est extrêmement rassurante et réactive, c'est précieux pour un chantier à distance ! Ses équipes sont managées avec respect et fermeté et sont donc très respectueuses également.Tout s'est très bien passé, dans les temps et en beauté. Le résultat a dépassé mes attentes, mon refuge à Biarritz est un petit bijou !

We hired Vanessa to both manage and execute the interior design for our home. It was a full tear down and rebuild so the project was quite complex. Add to this the "intricacies" of building in France coupled with the language barrier and it's easy to see we were in over our heads. Fortunately a friend recommended Vanessa and she not only designed a warm, functional, and beautiful living space, but helped us navigate the pitfalls of building in France. She was an advocate for us and our project and made our vision a reality.

Vanessa did all the design work for a major renovation of our 100 square meter house in Chiberta, and we were so happy with the result, that we asked her to also do a less extensive interior rework of a house in Itxassou. We are Americans living near Boston, so without Vanessa’s exceptional skills we would not have started either project. The Chiberta project was to renovate the house with a California vibe and a twist of French flair. Without increasing the size of the house, she was able to open it up to make the living environment more open and comfortable, with a sense of style and good taste that was in keeping with the beautiful area of Chiberta and and the sea and beach. A large load-bearing wall was removed and a new beam installed to open the kitchen and living room area. Other interior walls were removed to enable new wiring and plumbing. A new kitchen and two new bathrooms were installed. Vanessa knew whom to call for each part of the renovation project. She has great attention to detail to keep track of each part of the renovation, keeping the project moving ahead without challenges, and making sure that all was accounted for from a financial standpoint. A new patio was also installed with new landscaping in sympathy with the local climate. She advised us about new furnishings which we love, including a kids’ bedroom. We chose a beton ciré floor, which is like mellow white terrazzo that looks beautiful. We rent the house, and so we needed to make sure that furniture choices were practical from that standpoint. She made the house seem like it was larger than the 100 square meters, which was important, because, in France, there is a high tax for additional square meters when added to the original size of a house. Vanessa also worked her magic on our house in Itxassou, a beautiful small mountain village about a 30 minute drive from the coast. She recommended repainting the interior, which we did, to unify the "look" of the house. We replaced the bathroom, which was important, because while there were three bedrooms, there was only one bathroom. The new bathroom has two sinks. She augmented the heating. We also added closets in two bedrooms. In the old days, bedrooms in France didn’t have closets; armoires were used instead. The new closets look beautiful, and give the bedrooms a fresh new look.
